place. We understand that your first time at a church can bring up
some questions, and we want to help you feel more comfortable by
letting you know what to expect.
No matter what your age is, no matter where you come from, no matter who you
are, there is a place for you at Calvary. You'll meet a great mix of
friendly people, hear relevant messages, and much more. We want to help
you connect with the personal hope and practical help that God can give
us.

Where is Calvary Located?
Calvary meets at 7500 Oak Street in Kansas City, MO, which is located
at the southwest corner of 75th and Oak Streets. For detailed driving

When are the Worship Services? 
You can choose from two Sunday morning or one afternoon services
- 8:00 a.m., 10:45 a.m. or 4:30 p.m. Childcare is available at all three Sunday
worship services for children newborn to 3 years of age.
What Should I Wear?
We do not have a dress code at Calvary - some people wear suits
and dresses, others "business casual", and others jeans. We want you to
feel comfortable when visiting, so come as you are, you'll fit right in. "Man
looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart." 1 Samuel
16:7
Where do I Park?
Calvary's parking lot is located on the west side of the church
building. If this lot is full, then feel free to park on the adjoining
east, north, and west streets.
Where Do I Enter the Building?
You can enter through the main doors of the church off the 75th Street
entrance, or at the west side of the building from the parking lot. The
later choice has an easily accessible handicap ramp.
What Should I Expect in Church?
 Our
services are a contemporary expression of Christianity’s ancient traditions.
The focus is on the Lord and His grace. Much of the service is simply the
singing and speaking of Scripture – God’s Holy Word. Calvary is
dedicated to preaching and teaching biblical truth and sharing the Gospel
of Jesus Christ. Through the sermon and songs, the powerful Truth of
God’s never-failing love for even the unworthy is applied to our life and we,
the forgiven, are empowered for praise-filled living.
Connecting with our Family
At 9:00 a.m., we warmly welcome you to join us for coffee,
juice, and donuts in the fellowship hall, which is located just outside
the sanctuary.
This is a great time to meet new people just like you!
What’s Available for my Kids?
There are many times that the Pastor will talk to the children in the
"children's sermon" during the service. After church, we invite your
children to participate in our growing Sunday School programs and thriving
junior and senior youth groups.
Within the Calvary Kids ministry,
every child receives special, age-appropriate attention by adults dedicated to
caring and sharing the good news of God’s love. Creativity abounds in the
theme-inspired classrooms with their interactive curriculum.
